Key Challenges in Managing Access for WETEX 2024

Managing a large-scale event like WETEX presented several challenges, particularly concerning access management. With a diverse audience comprising industry professionals, government officials, and international delegates, the need for a robust and efficient access management system was critical.

The sheer volume of attendees, expected to reach over 35,000 individuals, required a streamlined process that ensured security and compliance while minimizing wait times and congestion at entry points.   • Custom Self-Serve Check-in Pods
    We delivered fully integrated self-serve check-in pods featuring a sleek, modern frame with premium finishes designed for both functionality and aesthetics, incorporating several advanced features. The centerpiece is an embedded tablet that runs our application. Additionally, the setup includes a high-performance QR scanner, allowing users to effortlessly scan their QR codes for quick access or verification.

    One of the standout features is the dynamic LED lighting system, which enhances the visual feedback experience. Controlled by a microcontroller integrated with the application, these lights provide immediate responses based on user input. In the idle state, the LED lights emit a calming blue glow. Upon scanning a valid QR code, the lights instantly shift to green, signaling successful verification. Conversely, when an invalid QR code is detected, the lights turn red, providing clear and immediate feedback. This combination of technology, design, and interactive lighting creates a visually engaging and intuitive user experience.

  • Software Development
    Our dedicated team developed an intuitive Android application integrated with a QR code scanner. This app facilitated swift attendee verification, allowing for rapid check-ins and reducing potential bottlenecks at entry points.
